Key votes and outcomes:
- Contract 26-12 (CIPP piping, manholes and sewer cleaning): the board accepted Insituform Technologies’ bid for a three‑year contract at $1,085,008.90 following staff review. Trustees approved awarding the contract and authorized execution of related documents.
- Donation from the Rye Women’s Club: the board accepted a $1,400 donation to the Anthony J. Pasilipo (AJP) Senior Center to support hot-meal and fitness programs; staff confirmed funds will be held in the appropriate account and administered by the AJP program coordinator.
- CDBG agreement for AJP retaining wall: the village approved an agreement with Westchester County to accept up to $200,000 in Community Development Block Grant funding for repair of the AJP Senior Center retaining wall. Staff and trustees noted the county requires a 50% local match, so the village’s share will be half of any awarded amount; estimated project costs will be finalized after bids.
- Carver Center pool and Garibaldi Park arrangement: the board renewed the interlocal agreement allowing the village day camp to use the Carver Center pool (village pays lifeguard/instructor costs) in exchange for the Carver Center’s use of Garibaldi Park for a six-week sports camp.
- Personnel and budget items: trustees approved a $250-per-paycheck stipend for the planning/zoning/ARB secretary covering temporary additional duties; they also approved budget timing changes to move a $107,000 CREST grant-funded police-motorcycle purchase into the 2026–27 capital plan.
- Appointments: the board appointed several residents to the advisory council on parks and recreation to fill terms through April 2027 and April 2028.
Most items passed unanimously in the roll call recorded in the minutes. Staff said documentation, bid packages and backup materials for each item are available on the village’s developments and resolutions webpages for public review.
