Councilmembers thanked staff and retiring deputy city manager Amber for their work on the budget. The mayor and vice mayor framed the adopted budget as an investment that includes public safety and childcare priorities.
The vote to adopt the levy (item 51) passed unanimously during the meeting; council described the outcome as concluding the budget process for the coming fiscal year.
