The Caldwell Board of Health approved a package of license applications during its Feb. 10 meeting, granting a total of 36 licenses across several categories by unanimous consent.
Maria Rodgers moved to approve 20 food establishment license applications; Phyllis Kent seconded the motion and the board agreed. Rodgers also moved to approve three public establishment licenses and four child-care licenses; those motions were seconded by Kent and approved by the board. Rodgers moved to approve seven vending-machine licenses—all at Caldwell University—with Lila Kurzum seconding; the board approved them. Two massage licenses were presented and approved following a motion by Maria Rodgers and a second by Phyllis Kent.
The approvals were routine and recorded without discussion of individual applicants. The board recorded the motions and indicated all present members agreed. The meeting adjourned at 7:07 p.m.; the next meeting is set for April 14, 2026.
