Hazel Park council adopts human-rights amendment and updates building code language

Administration presented a proposed revision to Municipal Code Chapter 15.04 to adopt current Michigan building and residential codes. James Finley, staff present to answer questions, summarized the intent: “What you're doing is you're adopting the Michigan building code and residential code.” Council approved the ordinance on its first reading and the administration recommended approval.
