"Show us the contracts. Let us do the due diligence," Eric Green told the commission, saying he wanted the commission to put DTE "through a contested case and a hearing." He alleged that NDAs and redactions have prevented public scrutiny and said he would continue to press the issue at commission meetings.
Chair Dan Scripps thanked Mr. Green for his comment, noted technical limitations for other remote speakers, and reminded attendees that the commission accepts written comments via the docket and the commissioners' email address provided in the meeting notice. The commission did not take formal action on Mr. Green's request during the meeting.
The commission rules and the docket record govern whether a contested case is opened; public commenters may submit filings to the docket identified for the relevant case or use the staff email address listed in the meeting notice to register concerns.
