The River Ridge Community Development District Board unanimously adopted Resolution 2025-02 on Nov. 19, 2024, electing the board’s officers and maintaining existing appointments for secretary and treasurer. Mrs. Adams, acting as a notary, then administered the Oath of Office to newly elected supervisors Kurt Blumenthal (Seat 3), Terry Mountford (Seat 4) and Robert Twombly (Seat 5).
The resolution, presented by Mrs. Adams and nominated by Mr. Mountford, named Bob Schultz as chair, Terry Mountford as vice chair and retained Kurt Blumenthal, Robert Twombly and Keith Merrill as assistant secretaries. Mrs. Adams noted prior appointments that remain in place: Chesley “Chuck” Adams as secretary and Craig Wrathell as assistant secretary and treasurer. On a motion by Mr. Mountford, seconded by Mr. Blumenthal, the board adopted Resolution 2025-02 with all supervisors in favor.
Board members also reviewed statutory and ethics requirements tied to their offices. Mrs. Adams outlined required filings and training, including Form 1, the Sunshine Amendment guidance and the four-hour ethics training; she said the ethics-training requirement will be added to the district’s Key Activity Dates list.
The board did not take additional action on the matter and moved on to operational items later in the agenda. The next regular Board meeting is scheduled for Dec. 10, 2024, at 1 p.m.
