The Fruitport Community Schools Personnel Committee reviewed the district's March 2026 personnel report at its March 9 meeting, which listed recommended new hires, resignations, retirement notices, transfers and positions still posted and vacant.
Jason Kennedy, Superintendent, shared signed Letters of Agreement on compensation from each district association; the documents were provided to the Committee and are scheduled to be presented to the full Board for consideration at the March Board meeting.
Committee members also reviewed the hiring timeline for the Shettler Elementary principal vacancy and for teaching positions expected to be open for the 2026'1027 school year because of retirements or resignations. The Committee did not record votes on those timelines; the materials will be shared with the Board at the regular meeting.
The Committee adjourned at 6:00 p.m.; the Board will consider the Letters of Agreement and receive the hiring timeline materials at its March meeting.
