At the May 11 meeting the City Council tabled two items for additional consideration and approved routine business items.
Councilmember Forte moved, with Avery supporting, to table the Carlisle‑Wortman Associates three‑year agreement renewal until June 8, 2026; the motion carried 7–0. Separately, Councilmember Forte moved, supported by Mayor Pro Tem Rodgers, to table consideration of a parking-lot sealcoating and restriping quote until the next meeting; that motion also carried unanimously.
Earlier in the meeting the council approved the consent agenda, including minutes and the Treasurer’s Report, by unanimous vote. Staff announced a public hearing on the proposed FY 2026–27 budget to be held May 26. The City Manager also presented informational items including a Governor’s Award for Historic Preservation, discussion points on insourcing versus outsourcing pothole patching, a city manager dashboard, and a possible ordinance on e-bikes and scooters; the minutes list these items but do not record substantive debate or voting on them.
