The auditor reported that 1,152 people voted out of 5,646 registered voters in Clarke County, a turnout of 20.40% for the primary. Following the certification of results, Supervisor Brian Sorensen moved to certify the election results; Supervisor Dean Robins seconded the motion. The board recorded ayes from Sorensen and Robins; Supervisor Randy Dunbar was absent from the vote.
