Superintendent shares school climate survey results with Fraser Board

Carrie Wozniak, Superintendent of Fraser Public Schools, presented an executive summary of the Department of Education School Climate Survey at the board’s April 22 meeting.
Wozniak said the survey was completed by parents, students in grades 5–12 and both instructional and non-instructional staff. The questions focused on perceptions of engagement, safety and the school environment, including classroom conditions, availability of physical and mental health supports, and discipline policies. "The data will be shared with building leaders and in an upcoming Over the Fence district newsletter," Wozniak said.
Board members did not take action on the survey at this meeting; Wozniak indicated the results will be distributed to building leaders for follow-up and will appear in forthcoming district communications.
