Clarke County supervisors unanimously appoint commissioner, approve license and authorize auditor to sign insurance and banking documents

The board adopted Resolution 026-099 to appoint Denny Jeter to the Clarke County Civil Service Commission. The motion was moved by Dean Robins and seconded by Brian Sorensen; the record lists the vote as “Ayes”: Randy Dunbar, Dean Robins, and Brian Sorensen; “Nays”: None.
Under Resolution 026-100, the supervisors approved a cigarette/tobacco license for Wades Café. The motion was moved by Brian Sorensen and seconded by Dean Robins and passed unanimously.
The board next approved Resolution 026-101, authorizing the Clarke County Auditor to sign terms and agreements for health insurance, bank information and related documents. That motion was moved by Brian Sorensen, seconded by Dean Robins, and carried on a unanimous voice vote.
Resolution 026-102 approved payment of claims submitted from June 9, 2026 through June 15, 2026. The minutes include a claims list read into the record with vendor names and line-item amounts; examples from the list include Access Data, $2,132.64; Fareway (inmate meals), $1,254.98; and Tyler Tech (Eden Migration), $3,190.00. The minutes do not state a single aggregated total for the claims.
With no further business, Brian Sorensen moved to adjourn; Dean Robins seconded. The board adjourned at 9:15 a.m. The minutes were signed by Randy Dunbar, Chairman, and attested by Jessica Graves, Auditor.
