Trustees re-elect officers and adopt bulletin-board policy

At its May 7 meeting, the Dickinson Memorial Library Board of Trustees retained the current slate of officers and adopted a revised Community Bulletin Board and Free Literature Policy.
Trustee Peter Weis moved to keep the existing slate — Jon McGowan as chair, Deb Potee as vice-chair, Alex Strysky as treasurer and Nolan Kitfield as secretary — and Trustee Gretchen Licata seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
Trustees reviewed a draft Bulletin Board and Free Literature Policy, suggested minor edits, and then Trustee Peter Weis moved to accept the policy as amended; Trustee Alex Strysky seconded. The board approved the amended policy unanimously.
The minutes also note election results for the trustees (Jon McGowan and Peter Weis each received 303 votes) and that the next board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Trustees' Room.
