The Northfield Sewer Commission approved two abatements at its April 29 meeting and directed staff to rebill the Moody Center, Chair Karen Boudreau said.
Commission discussion identified a parcel-record error that led a $707.79 charge to be billed to 'TAC' although the Moody Center was the owner; Michele Turner will reissue the bill to the Moody Center. The commission also authorized Michele to file abatements for 46 Maple Street covering the current year and five prior years; the minutes record an abatement amount of $2,436.20 and a rebill amount of $5,802.37.
Chair Boudreau moved to accept both abatements and rebill the Moody Center; Commissioner Bernard Boudreau seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The signed documents were passed to staff for processing.
Ending: Staff will reissue corrected bills and process abatements; the commission recorded the signed approvals in the meeting minutes.
