City of Morrow approves entertainment and fireworks contracts for Juneteenth celebration

The agreement provides three hours of performance time for a total fee of $10,500, with a nonrefundable deposit of $1,050 and a remaining balance of $9,450 due on the day of the event. The motion passed unanimously, with all council members voting aye.
The council then voted to add and approve a separate contract with Freedom Fireworks, LLC for a fireworks display tied to the same Juneteenth celebration. The proposed contract amount is $15,000, with a $3,000 deposit and a remaining balance of $12,000. That motion also passed unanimously.
Together, the two contracts represent $25,500 in contracted event services for the Juneteenth program. Council documentation notes the performance agreement and fireworks contract but does not record additional conditions, insurance requirements, or permits in the public minutes.
