Hebron council vacates unnamed alley between inlots after split vote

Mrs. Chapman expressed concern that approving this vacation might set a precedent for other alley claims, while Mayor Valerie Mockus said the resident in question maintains the lot and the matter differs from other alleys.
The ordinance passed by roll call vote: all councilmembers present voted in favor except Councilmember Annelle Porter, who voted against.
The council discussed the possibility of creating a future policy for handling alley vacations to address concerns about precedent, but no new policy was enacted at this meeting.
