Hinsdale Lake Management Committee approves minutes, notes new signage and water sampling

At the June 5 Hinsdale Lake Management Committee meeting, Cynthia Grippaldi moved to accept the minutes from May; Andy Hagadorn seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Chair Monica Montferret reported that Brian D’Orio installed a new sign board at the Plunkett boat launch. The board will carry notices prohibiting parking and swimming and will include information about zebra mussels. D’Orio also said he collected water samples at several locations at Plunkett and expects test results to be available soon.
Montferret asked which committee members wished to serve in the coming year and said she will submit names to the Select Board for reappointment. All members except Cynthia Grippaldi indicated they would continue; Montferret noted that Grippaldi is moving from Ashmere and does not intend to remain on the committee. The meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m. after Duane Bruce moved to adjourn and Andy Hagadorn seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
