At the June 9 meeting, Nathan (Nate) Saintignon of AMP presented Allyson Pape as the recipient of the $3,000 Richard H. Gorsuch scholarship. The minutes note Allyson is the daughter of Senior Lineman Chris Pape and Janel Pape.
President of Council Larger read a mayoral proclamation recognizing 50 years of service by the New Bremen Emergency Squad; the EMS will host an open house on June 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. No formal action regarding the EMS proclamation was recorded beyond the reading of the proclamation.
Administrator Richter reported to council that the village pool is holding water well following offseason improvements, with minimal loss attributed to evaporation and splash.
