At its Dec. 18 meeting the Village Board approved several routine items on the consent agenda, including minutes and invoices, and granted an operator license for Brandi Bartell (RStore, 295 Doty St., Fond du Lac). Trustee Mike Will moved to approve the consent agenda; Trustee Ann Price seconded and the motion carried 4–0.
The board then appointed Elizabeth Kraft and Charles Hornung as chief inspectors for upcoming elections and approved a list of election inspectors for the 2024 and 2025 elections. Trustee Ann Price moved the appointments and Trustee Mike Will seconded; the motion carried with three ayes while Trustee Chuck Hornung abstained.
Later the board voted to enter closed session at 6:46 p.m. under Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of public employees. The minutes note discussion of LEER and SORD union contracts during closed session. The board returned to open session at 8:21 p.m. and adjourned at 8:22 p.m.
