Council advances EV charging station proposal, rezoning and insurance renewal to second reading

EV charging proposal: Richter also outlined a proposal for four level-2, 80 AMP EV chargers to be installed in the lot behind the library. The proposed fee schedule is $0.385 per kilowatt-hour, with a 30-minute loitering grace period and a $5 per hour loitering charge thereafter. That proposal appeared as Ordinance 2025-03-10 and remained at second reading.
