YMCA to manage New Bremen pool; family day pass eliminated for 2025 season

Village Administrator Richter told the council the village reviewed a management agreement with the YMCA of Greater Dayton and approved it on third reading at the April 14 meeting.
Under the agreement the YMCA's annual management fee will increase from $13,000 to $15,500. Richter said the council also decided to eliminate the $20 family day pass for the 2025 season because other area pools typically do not offer family day passes and enforcement was difficult during busy periods. Richter said season passes and individual day rates will not change: family season pass $125 and individual season pass $50; adult daily pass $5 and youth daily pass $4.
The resolution adopting the agreement (Resolution 2025-03-03) passed by voice vote. Administration will implement the new pricing for the 2025 season.
