The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and a short prayer. The board then moved through a series of standard approvals: the previous meeting's minutes, claims, payroll, the monthly weights-and-measures report and the IT monthly report. Each item was moved, seconded and recorded as carried.
Later in the session a speaker informed commissioners that the west-side handicap ramp at the Henry County Courthouse will be out of service for as much as three weeks. The speaker said arrangements had been made to provide a temporary accessible ramp on the east side of the courthouse while repairs occur.
The meeting adjourned after no members of the public indicated they wished to speak further.
