Another resident, describing a yard problem, said the neighborhood pickup day is Wednesday and recounted that decades-old bamboo on the property bloomed and died this year, creating a disposal burden that would have taken weeks to handle without curbside removal. "I really appreciate them doing the job and helping me rid my property of this dying bamboo," the resident said, calling the city service "a blessing."

One resident commended crews for stepping beyond routine duties, saying they recently parked down the street, walked into a cul-de-sac and carried cans to their truck to help a neighbor. Speakers also noted that dense tree cover and large lots sometimes cause yard-waste volumes to exceed what homeowners can stack within pile-size limits, and they thanked crews for helping process excess material.

A crew member who spoke directly said, "It's just I enjoy doing what we do," and described taking pride in cleaning debris from the route so residents can see what they're doing and travel safely. Commenters emphasized that the crews face a significant, variable workload and expressed gratitude for the professionalism they bring to the service.
