Cromwell library hires Gordon Kent as new library technical assistant

At the June 8 meeting the Cromwell Library Commission learned the library chose Gordon Kent as its new Library Technical Assistant. Director Kara Canney said Kent was selected from a pool of 55 candidates and will join the library team on Monday, June 8.
Canney said Kent brings over 10 years of library experience and was most recently employed at the East Hartford Public Libraries. The commission accepted the Director's Report later in the meeting, which included the hiring announcement.
No further personnel actions or votes on the hire were recorded in the meeting minutes.
