Francine Damico and Melanie Miller, representing the Clinton Is Home Foundation, briefed the board Feb. 11 on the group's community projects for 2025. They said the foundation will attend the March Community Market to distribute vendor questionnaires, seek volunteer sign-ups at a community meeting on March 11 at the Green Door and pursue beautification projects such as hanging flower baskets and planting Main Street planters.
Damico told the council that proposed vendor fees for the market will need to be addressed by the town council under current ordinances and may require ordinance revision. She asked for town participation, including a council member walking Main Street with foundation representatives to identify locations for baskets and planters.
Alderman Young moved to accept the information and Alderman Morris seconded; the motion passed. The foundation will circulate a volunteer sign-up at the March 11 meeting and return with more detailed proposals as needed.
