Claiborne Parish 4‑H reports 59% membership increase; Water Fest drew more than 300 students

Hightower highlighted the Claiborne Parish Water Fest, which she said drew more than 300 students, and noted that two Claiborne youth attended the Marsh Maneuvers wetlands education program in south Louisiana; one student was selected for Advanced Marsh Maneuvers. Hightower said she teaches a life‑skills curriculum that includes financial education to prepare students for post‑school life and thanked the Board "for allowing her to speak" and for their support of the 4‑H program.
