Elijah Yearick, serving as Borough managing director and secretary, told Council that the Runabout Line project is prepared to move to bid but is awaiting authorization from the state's grant consultants. Yearick also noted that the county's draft transportation improvement program currently open for public comment proposes $900,000 toward trail construction; he said roughly 70 percent of comments received to date have supported the trail.
Rob McFadden reported Front Street repaving work will begin June 1 and will include curb replacements at Cedar. McFadden also said that tours of the wastewater treatment plant for Water Week had sold out.
Council approved the May MS4 invoice from David Miller & Associates (motion: Gattis; second: Carpenter) with President Hain recorded as abstaining on that vote.
