Jeff said the district expects to "enter into an agreement with John Dancer from Cornerstone Architects to help us with that" as part of master planning and facility development. He also briefed members on schedule-B job postings for coaching and other positions, and on a flooring project scheduled to begin June 29 that may require phased work and board approval at the July 13 meeting.
On operations, Jeff described an internal transition: Frank is passing responsibilities to incoming operations lead AJ, who will begin July 1. Jeff noted AJ will complete bus-related certifications and an on-the-job orientation: "it's more of getting some information and then working through it through July".
Board members reviewed a new public-communications workflow designed to route messages to official Frankfurt email accounts and to limit multi-member replies to reduce the risk of Open Meetings Act violations. The superintendent and staff said the system will issue reminders to personal accounts when messages arrive in a board member's Frankfurt inbox and that the system was tested but still had minor bugs.
The board did not take formal policy action beyond approving the communication setup for ongoing tests and scheduling final decisions and any necessary approvals for the July meeting.
