Council reviews GoGov subscriptions and several city contracts; no awards at work session

City Manager Mark Musselwhite presented a set of procurement items during the work session. He described GoGov’s suite of products — GORequest for citizen requests, GOEnforce for code enforcement, GONotify for notifications, and voice/text credits — with a combined annual cost of $12,940.
Councilman Shawn Allen requested additional time to review the GoGov proposal before authorizing the subscription. Mr. Musselwhite also presented a proposed cleaning contract to replace a discontinued provider at $485 per month for biweekly cleaning plus monthly conference room cleaning; he told the council this is comparable to the prior contract but that council approval is required.
Separately, Councilman Andrew Ferguson introduced a draft contract for the July 4 event with the band Stereo Superstar and asked the council to authorize the city manager to execute the final contract once completed. No procurement motions or votes were recorded in the work session minutes; staff will return with contract documents for council approval.
