Treasurer Jody Myers reported to the Marquette County Property Committee on Aug. 5 that a tax-deed property comprised of parcel combination 165-00183-0000 and 165-00184-0000 was sold at auction for $36,280. After associated costs are deducted, Myers said the amount to be issued to the former owner will be $30,831.62.
The committee opened the meeting at 12:30 p.m. with Committee Chairperson Lance Achterberg presiding. The committee approved the meeting agenda on a motion by Dave Benson, seconded by Mary Walters, and later approved the June 25, 2025 meeting minutes on a motion by Mary Walters, seconded by Dave Benson; both motions carried.
No further action on the tax-deed sale was recorded in the minutes; the report was presented as part of the Treasurer’s report.
