A moderator was elected by voice vote at the Windsor Locks town meeting on March 12, 2026 after a nomination from the floor. A participant nominated Joe Wilson for moderator; a second was offered and the moderator was chosen by voice vote. The person then presiding opened the meeting and asked whether anyone was moving the adoption of the first resolution on the agenda.
The meeting proceeded to a resolution asking town meeting to approve using $14,000 in unallocated capital for a senior center bus, which the town clerk read aloud. After a short discussion and a voice vote on that resolution, the moderator declared the ayes had it and the resolution was adopted. The meeting adjourned at 7:33 p.m.
