POCD visioning session set for June 10; commission urged to attend

Ms. Hodge told the Conservation–Lake Commission that a POCD visioning session will be held June 10 from 6–8 p.m. at Town Hall, facilitated by a consultant; members and other commissions are encouraged to attend and input will be organized in four small-group stations.
Ms. Hodge distributed a handout summarizing survey results and said the town’s POCD visioning session is scheduled for June 10 from 6–8 p.m. at Town Hall. She asked members of this commission and other town boards and commissions to participate, saying the session is a final opportunity for public input into the POCD process.
Ms. Hodge described plans to bring in a consultant to facilitate the session and to set up four areas to collect input more easily. She also said she is drafting a rough POCD report and will review carryover goals from the 2016 POCD to determine whether they remain relevant.
