Windsor Locks board unanimously readopts 2026 housekeeping policies and schedule

The Board of Selectmen voted on Dec. 2 to readopt a set of routine municipal policies and to post the town's 2026 meeting schedule. Committee member (Speaker 2) introduced each motion; the board approved them by voice vote.
The motions covered an affirmative action plan (the five-year review), an affirmative action policy statement, a fair housing policy statement and fair housing resolution, the municipal grievance procedure, compliance with Title IV of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the town ADA notice. "I motion to approve the affirmative action plan adopted on this date, which is 12/02/2025," Committee member (Speaker 2) said; the board voted 'Aye' on each item.
The board also approved the 2026 Board of Selectmen meeting schedule (first and third Tuesdays of each month) and the list of observed holidays for 2026; staff confirmed the schedule will be posted to the town website.
These measures were presented as housekeeping items and carried unanimously on voice votes. The board said each motion would be recorded in the meeting minutes and circulated to relevant departments for posting and compliance steps.
