Carlisle Affordable Housing Trust approves up to $40,000 for Bog House site plan

Maureen Cosgrove-Deery, a Trust member, moved to approve up to $40,000 from CAHT’s existing funds to retain LandTech to create an expanded site plan; Beverly Shorey seconded the motion. The $40,000 figure reflects a LandTech quote of $35,000 plus an additional $5,000 to cover meetings and attendance. The motion passed with Ballantine, Cosgrove-Deery, Luther, Model and Shorey voting yes and Chris Hart abstaining. Hart cited safety concerns about placing trail parking across the street.
Ballantine said the feasibility study and site-plan work will address safety questions raised by members and that the plan will also cover septic system siting across the street. The Trust did not specify additional conditions or a deadline for LandTech to complete the work.
Next steps: staff will proceed with LandTech under the approved budget authorization and include safety analysis in the feasibility work; the Trust expects the site plan to inform subsequent funding and permitting requests.
