The Town Manager Search Committee told the Select Board on April 14 that it narrowed a field of 28 applicants to four finalists and has forwarded that list to the board for interviews.
Timothy Davis, chair of the search committee, read the committee’s selection letter and announced the final four candidates. Select Member David Farrag and Chair Ellen Maher thanked the committee for its work. The board discussed scheduling interviews and expressed a desire to conclude the process by the end of the month.
Select Member Paul Grady suggested interviews could be conducted in one evening if scheduled to start early; Chair Maher said completing the search was a priority and asked staff to keep the process moving. No candidate names were included in the meeting minutes provided to the Select Board at this session.
The Select Board’s next step is to schedule interviews with the four finalists, after which the board will proceed with the town’s normal appointment process.
