Tega Cay EDC approves March minutes, defers election of officers

The Tega Cay Economic Development Commission approved the minutes of its March 23, 2026 regular meeting after Chair Ashley Rabon moved to approve them and Commissioner Madison Burt seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Nominations for chair and vice-chair were presented but declined by the nominees, and the Commission agreed to revisit elections at a future EDC meeting; no officer was elected during the April 21 session. Chair Rabon and Commissioner Chris Franckhauser conducted an orientation segment for newly appointed members during which members introduced themselves and described their professional backgrounds. Commissioner Madison Burt said he works in recycling machinery and Commissioner Audrey Kuvyrdin said she works in property technology.
With no further business, Chair Rabon moved to adjourn, Commissioner Burt seconded, and the body adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
