Planning Board schedules housing forum, notes office move and Tree Committee activity

Planning staff announced several administrative and outreach items at the April 13 Dover Planning Board meeting.
Town Planner Melissa M. SantucciRozzi reported that Planning Department staff have moved into a new office and that the board will hear an application for 4 Bridle Path Circle at the April 27 meeting. SantucciRozzi said planners are arranging a second public forum to follow up on the March 31 Housing Development Study forum; the forum is intended to be in‑person on a Saturday morning prior to summer, with efforts underway to compile a broad outreach list to increase turnout.
Member Val Lin provided a Tree Committee update: Arbor Day observances are scheduled for April 24 with activities around town, the committee has finalized arrangements with MAPC to begin drafting a tree bylaw, and the Town of Dover was designated a Tree City USA community for the third consecutive year. Chair Lisbon also listed future business items the board will consider, including proposed modifications at 15–19 Strawberry Hill (a proposed large equestrian complex), a storefront/façade proposal for 14 Dedham Street (Dunkin’), and a pool application for 199 Dedham Street.
The board confirmed upcoming meeting dates: April 27, May 4 (if needed) and May 18.
