Tom Manning appointed Bolton representative to CRCOG Regional Planning Commission

At its Jan. 14 meeting, the Bolton Planning & Zoning Commission appointed Chairman Tom Manning as the town’s representative to the Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) Regional Planning Commission for 2026–27. Marilee Manning moved the appointment; Tom Manning seconded and the commission approved it unanimously, 7–0.
Tom Manning noted CRCOG typically meets about four times per year; attendance can provide commissioners with continuing‑education credit and exposure to regional topics such as transportation, housing and “third places.” The commission recorded that the alternate representative will be confirmed at the February meeting; Ellen King expressed interest in the alternate seat if James Cropley declines to continue.
The motion was recorded as carried 7–0‑0.
