Mark Zurek asked for clearer public access to the district's total operating budget and said rising costs made a close review appropriate; a district representative said the most recent budgets and audits are posted on the district website and cited an approximate operating budget of $47 million for the 2025–26 year. Zurek urged the board to examine possible cuts in light of projected tax pressures.
Board members said they would proceed with hiring actions for building & grounds and finalize the posting for the superintendent role; they reiterated plans to involve stakeholders in vetting. The board scheduled a capital budget special meeting for April 29 and confirmed a regular meeting on May 21, 2026.
