Council also approved three smaller auction sales: parcel ID 27136118 to Seth Coats (sale price reported $4,100), parcel ID 270136131 to Victor Raider ($38,000), and a lot at 9th and Luther to William Chamberlain ($11,000). For each sale council moved to suspend the rules and give final reading the same night; all motions carried unanimously.
Staff described the auctions as part of an effort to dispose of underused city properties and to bring funds into the city treasury; councilors noted the revenue is a one‑time budgetary benefit and that the auctioneer's fee will reduce net proceeds.
