The City of Denison on Oct. 7 adopted Resolution No. 2025-51 accepting completion of the 2024 HMA Improvement Project covering Divisions I–IV and approved final contractor payments.
Council approved Change Order No. 3 to Ten Point Construction Co., Inc., in the amount of ($15,817.02), a net reduction, and then approved Pay Application No. 5 (final) to Ten Point Construction Co., Inc., for $9,162.00. Both motions were moved and seconded and carried unanimously.
The actions conclude the project's billing and administrative closeout before the council. The resolutions and pay application were presented together as the contractor's final financial items for the 2024 resurfacing work.
No members of the public spoke on the HMA project during the meeting. The council's acceptance of completion preserves the City's ability to post final notices and proceed with any required documentation for state reporting or warranty timelines.
