Councilmember Richard Harley moved to approve the minutes of the April 1, 2025 meeting and to dispense with the reading; Councilmember Ed Whatley seconded the motion, and it carried with all in favor. Later, Councilmember Harley reviewed the March 2025 financial report and moved to approve it as presented; Councilmember Herb Robins seconded and the motion passed with all in favor.
Mayor Brenda Bell-Guercio presented a proclamation declaring April 18, 2025 "Two Lights for Tomorrow Day," an initiative tied to America’s 250th anniversary that encourages residents to display two lights in windows in remembrance of Paul Revere’s lantern signal. Councilmember Herb Robins moved to approve the proclamation; Councilmember Harley seconded, and the motion was approved unanimously by those present.
No ordinances or budgetary appropriations were adopted at the meeting. The minutes were signed and submitted by Town Clerk Vickie Lewis.
