The Sharon Board of Finance held its second budget hearing on June 29, 2026, at Town Hall. Chairman Bartram called the hearing to order at 5:00 p.m. and read the legal notice before turning the meeting over to volunteer Moderator Linda Amerighi.
Moderator Linda Amerighi outlined the rules for the hearing and the order of business. First Selectman Flanagan then presented the Board of Selectmen’s proposed budget and explained changes from the prior hearing; the record shows there were no questions from the Board of Finance or members of the public about the Selectmen’s proposal.
Board of Education Chairman O’Reilly addressed the Board of Education’s proposed budget and responded to the single recorded question, which related to tuition payments. No motions or votes were recorded in the transcript of this hearing.
