Stat. 143‑318.11(a)(3) for attorney-client privileged discussion of the lawsuit REV. DR. JOHN SHANNON, SHERRONNE BATTLE, STELLA BROTHERS, DEBRA MILLER, and ROD PHILLIPS v. Town of Edenton, Town Council, Chowan County, Board of Commissioners. The motion passed unanimously (7-0).

Commissioner Ron Cummings moved both to go into closed session and later to come out of closed session; both motions passed unanimously.
