The approved starting wage ranges are: paraprofessionals $16.00–$18.50; sub-paraprofessionals $16.00; bus drivers $18.00–$20.00 (all vehicle types); custodians $17.25–$19.25; head custodians $23.00–$25.00; 10- and 11-month administrative assistants $16.50–$18.50; and 12-month administrative assistants $19.50–$21.50. In addition, current support staff will receive a 4% increase to their pay.
School officials listed the wage adjustments as an agenda item under business. No public comment on the proposal is recorded in the transcript.
The board also approved routine minutes and payments earlier in the meeting and adjourned at 6:05 p.m.
