The commission approved site plans subject to staff recommendations for Pina & Mendez Auto Corp (1928 Murfreesboro Rd) on a motion by Renfro, seconded by Nokes, and for Prologis (135 Logistics Dr) on a motion by Weathers, seconded by Renfro. The commission approved site plans and building height variances for Project Crossroads Buildings 1 and 2 (McCrary Rd) after developer representative Jim Lukens (Ware-Malcomb) answered questions; both Crossroads approvals passed with Renfro recorded as the lone no vote on each item.
A site plan for a Samples Repair building addition (3394 Hwy 109 N) was approved on motion of Renfro, second by Neal. The preliminary plat for the Denney Property (12 lots at Vesta Rd & Flatwoods Rd) was approved on motion of Renfro, second by Weathers. The commission affirmed several plats—Jacob Benton Property (2 lots), William & Sharon Jolly Property (2 lots), consolidation of Coles Ferry Camp lots 139–144 into one lot, and an amendment to Walker Hills Subdivision Lot 18 Section II—on motion of Weathers, second by Renfro, all subject to Stormwater, Engineering, County Fire Marshal, and Utility District comments.
The commission denied a requested extension for Berkshire Place (87 lots, Posey Hill Rd) after Commissioner Renfro moved to deny, Chairman Jones seconded, and the motion passed with all voting aye. The final extension request for Hawthorne Valley Phase 2 (80 lots) was deferred to the November 20, 2026 agenda on a motion by Renfro, second by Chairman Jones; the motion passed with all voting aye.
