The packet reported total discretionary income received for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, as $405,470.15.
As part of the 2026 amendments, the board authorized a $22,000 transfer within EMS to cover increased cost for a maintenance contract with Stryker and approved moving one deputy’s salary and benefits to the Jail budget for six months to address staffing needs. Those transfers were described as reallocations between line items; no additional county funding was requested. Commissioner Ellis Lawrence moved to approve the FY24‑25 amendments and Commissioner Ron Cummings moved to approve the 2026 amendments; both motions passed unanimously (6‑0).
The packet lists dozens of account numbers and one‑time transfers intended to close out fiscal year accounts and align departmental budgets with actual expenditures. The board did not record any dissenting votes. Finance staff will implement the transfers and report back if further adjustments are needed.
The board also approved a separate transfer to cover part‑time elections salaries until a full‑time position is filled.
