At its June 4 meeting the Town of Union Board approved several administrative resolutions recommended by the Environmental/Laws & Legislation committee.
The board voted to retain the law firm Bailey, Johnson & Peck, PC to represent the town in litigation matters and authorized Supervisor Robert Mack to execute a retainer agreement. The Board also approved an agreement with C&S Engineers, Inc. to provide development and planning services, subject to Town Attorney review and approval.
The board additionally passed a resolution calling a public hearing on July 9, 2025, at 7 p.m. to consider enactment of a new local law entitled “Electric Vehicle Charging Station.” The minutes record committee motions by Joseph P. Nirchi, Sr. and second by Thomas R. Augostini; votes on the recorded resolutions are listed as carried in the minutes.
