Florence board approves $78,928.62 change order for Eagle Post Road sewer project

The Florence mayor and aldermen on Oct. 21 approved a $78,928.62 increase to the MCWI contract for the Highway 49 Eagle Post Road Sanitary Sewer Additions—Phase II project, following a recommendation from City Engineer Tim Parker. The motion, made by Alderman John Banks and seconded by Alderman Kyle Martin, passed unanimously.

Parker also recommended that Mayor Trey Gunn be authorized to sign close-out documents for the STP–Eagle Post Road overlay project; the board approved that request unanimously as well. The change order was recorded as MCWI #255-2-CW-5.5 (contract change order #4) on the project file.
