Board hears Bond 2020 construction update; previews food service contract vote for May meeting

Bond update: Lisa Bondy reported on the Bond 2020 project progress and outlined items completed during spring break; no formal action was taken on the Bond update at this meeting.
Food service contract: Angie Gleason presented details of the proposed Food Service Contract and answered questions from Board members. The contract presentation was informational; the Board is scheduled to vote on the Food Service Contract at the May Board meeting. Superintendent Cybulla noted that Brenda Tenniswood will also appear at the May meeting to provide the RESA 2026–27 budget update.
Department reports from Personnel, Curriculum, the Business Office and Special Education were also provided for the Board’s information earlier in the meeting. No public comment was received.
Next steps: The Board will consider the Food Service Contract and RESA budget update at the May meeting; administration will provide the contract documents and any requested additional information before that vote.
