East China School District board approves lease with City of Marine City

The motion to approve the lease was made by Committee member Ronald Miller and seconded by Committee member Shawn Treadaway; the vote was recorded Yea: 7, Nay: 0. Board President Michael Westrick presided over the meeting.
Superintendent Cybulla presented the administration recommendation to enter the lease under the terms as presented to the Board. The motion language authorized administration to "finalize and execute all necessary documents to implement this agreement," per the agenda item.
The vote followed routine consent business earlier in the meeting, and no public comments were registered during the public-comment period.
The Board adjourned at 6:40 p.m. The administration will carry out the authorized steps to implement the lease agreement as directed by the Board.
